All their condolences. After it was confirmed on Tuesday, Nov. 24, that longtime All My Children star David Canary had passed away earlier this month, his former costars Kelly Ripa and Sarah Michelle Gellar remembered the late actor via Twitter.

David Canary

Ripa, 45, now the co-host of her ABC daytime talk show, Live With Kelly and Michael, portrayed Canary's daughter Hayley Vaughan on the long-running soap. The mom of three starred on the series from 1990 to 2002, and married her on-screen love, Mark Consuelos, in 1996.

Gellar, another former All My Children star, also reacted to the news on Tuesday.

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress, now 38, portrayed Kendall Hart on the series and won the 1995 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. Eventually, she went on to star in Buffy and several other TV series.

Canary was an award-winning actor who won five Daytime Emmys throughout his career for his portrayal of Adam Chandler on the series. The Wilton Bulletin reported that the actor passed away on Nov. 16, in Cannondale, Ct., from natural causes at age 77. He is survived by his wife, Maureen, and their son, Christopher, and daughter, Kathryn.
