Model behavior! Kendall Jenner expanded her ever-growing resume on Friday, Jan. 16, when she penned a column for the Wall Street Journal

The reality star, 19, added journalist to her bio, writing on youth for WSJ. Magazine's February 2015 issue. Along with soccer player Tim Howard, actress Goldie Hawn, psychology professor Jeffrey Jensen Arnett, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Fredric Brandt, and author Maira Kalman, Jenner was approached as one of six "luminaries" to reflect on the topic.

"I feel like I grew up too fast a long time ago," writes the runway model, who first appeared alongside half-sister Kim Kardashian and the rest of the family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians when she was just 11 years old.

While her teenage years were spent partying with stars and kicking off a now full-fledged modeling career, Jenner attributes her quick rise into adulthood to her family's work ethic, rather than her Hollywood roots.

"Having older siblings, you grow up around adults, so you mature more quickly," she writes. "I saw my sisters and parents working every day, so I was pretty much brought up to be a workaholic. But I just turned 19 a couple weeks ago, and I'm scared to be 20 — it's the first step out of being a teenager."

The rising star is the second-youngest sibling in the expansive Kardashian-Jenner clan. Her half-sister Kourtney Kardashian is almost 16 years her senior, while half-brother Brandon Jenner is 14 years older.

"My sister Khloé always says to me and my younger sister, Kylie: You have your whole life to be an adult but only so long to be a kid. And we get it," Jenner continued of older half-sister Khloe Kardashian, 30, and little sis Kylie Jenner, 17. "In the right situations, I try to be as immature as I can sometimes — react to things as if I were 12. You can't take things too seriously."

Despite her best attempts at staying young, Jenner's adult professional life is as serious as ever. After walking her first fashion week runway in February 2014, the star has gone on to become the new face of Estée Lauder, booked a campaign with Marc Jacobs, and continued to walk for big designers like Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Givenchy.
