Kendall and Kylie Jenner took to social media after their parents Bruce and Kris Jenner filed for divorce. While Kylie remained coy, sister Kendall blatantly showed her love for her parents with a throwback picture.
On Monday, Sept. 22, the L.A. Superior Courthouse confirmed to Us Weekly that Kris had filed for divorce from Bruce after 22 years of marriage. Following the news, Kylie posted a cryptic message via her Instagram. "I discovered that our disconnect was never because of the insecurities we felt, but rather the emptiness we created when we failed to make sense of ourselves," read the quote the 17-year-old captioned as "emptiness we created."
Less than 24 hours after Kris filed, the reality star's dad Bruce responded with a nearly identical file on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The couple's 18-year-old daughter Kendall showed her support by posting a throwback photo of her parents in happier times with a simple heart emoji.
The couple, who separated 11 months ago, both cited irreconcilable differences and filed without lawyers. According to Kris' longtime friend Kathie Lee Gifford, the split is completely amicable.
Kris exclusively told Us last October that "there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family."
