Kevin Costner is dating director and author Kelly Noonan Gores after his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, multiple sources exclusively tell Us Weekly.
“They are hanging out casually and were connected by friends,” one source reveals.
Costner, 70, lives in Carpinteria, California, while Noonan Gores, 46, resides nearly 100 miles away in Manhattan Beach, so their relationship is “not serious” yet, according to the source. However, they have “spent time” together in Colorado recently.
“They both frequent Aspen often and have mutual friend groups,” the source tells Us. “They have been getting to know each other and seeing each other casually when they can.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Costner’s rep and Noonan Gores for comment.
Costner was married to Baumgartner, 51, from September 2004 to February 2024. The former couple share three children together: sons Cayden, 18, and Hayes, 16, and daughter Grace, 15.
Costner also has three kids with his first wife, Cindy Silva: daughters Annie, 41, and Lily, 39, and son Joe, 37. In addition, the Yellowstone alum is the father of son Liam, 28, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney.
Following his bitter divorce from Baumgartner, Costner said his family had remained his priority throughout the court proceedings, which ended with the exes agreeing to share joint custody of their children. The Oscar-winning actor was also ordered to pay the handbag designer more than $63,000 a month in child support.
“You just do it. You just keep talking, you keep coaching [the kids], you keep interested in what they’re interested in,” he told People in June 2024.
Later that month, Costner told Fox News what he was looking for in his next partner: “A person who wants to be loved, and they … feel like they’re at their very best, and that love helps that and doesn’t hinder it.”
Baumgartner has since moved on too, with news breaking in January that she had gotten engaged to her and Costner’s former neighbor Josh Connor.
Noonan Gores, for her part, wed billionaire businessman Alec Gores in October 2016, but she announced in December 2024 that they were going through a divorce.
“It was excruciating. Even though I initiated the conversation, neither of us wanted this, and it was extremely heartbreaking,” she said on her “Heal with Kelly” podcast in January while recapping the “hardest year” of her life.
Noonan Gores continued, “This is not for a lack of love. I love this man deeply and madly and tremendously and have so much respect for him. So grateful for everything I have learned, everything that he has taught me and just the adventures and the growth that we’ve had together. He truly was my best friend.”
Noonan Gores and Gores, 72, share a 6-year-old daughter, Riley.
