She’s got the baby blues. Khloé Kardashian said on the Sunday, July 3, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she was really upset when her younger brother, Rob Kardashian, told her that he and his fiancée, Blac Chyna, are having a baby.
The episode started off with Rob and Khloé — along with sisters Kourtney and Kim — meeting to discuss the sole male Kardashian’s recent engagement to Chyna, 28. After they hashed out their issues with finding out about the news via social media, Rob, 29, dropped a major bombshell: Chyna is pregnant with his child.
“I don’t want you guys getting mad,” he began before Kourtney, 37, cut him off: “You’re having a baby. Did you tell Mom?”
“Yes. I want Mom and you guys involved. I don’t expect you guys to be all happy, but I’m sure you guys will eventually,” Rob responded. “I want you all a part of it. There needs to be a talk between you guys … she’s going to be in your lives forever.”
Kim, 35, and Kourtney both told Rob how happy they were for him, but Khloé, his former roommate and perhaps closest sibling, was unable to hide her emotions as she silently kept her head down and sulked for the rest of the siblings’ sit-down.
“I don’t know my emotions right now. I am empty … I am internally sad,” Khloé — who has yet to have a child of her own — told the camera during a confessional.
Later, Kourt and KoKo called their mom, Kris Jenner, who was traveling in Dubai at the time, to discuss the surprise pregnancy announcement.
“There’s nothing we can do … what’s done is done,” Khloé explained to the reality-TV matriarch. “I don’t know.”
Since then, the Strong Looks Better Naked author has seemingly put the family tension behind her as she celebrated her 32nd birthday with Rob and Chyna at Dave & Buster’s in Los Angeles on June 27.
Despite Khloé’s shock and horror at the news that Rob and Chyna were welcoming a baby and planning to wed, the couple (who have a reality show in the works) seemed to get along just fine with the former Kocktails with Khloé host. The trio posed for several silly photo-booth pics, which were posted on social media shortly after the birthday party wrapped up.
Back in May, a source told Us Weekly that Rob’s baby news has made him and Khloé closer than ever. “The baby brought them together,” the insider says. “Rob is having a baby, which is huge, and she needed to be there for him. It was the right thing to do.”
