Behold the power of Kim. Social media queen Kim Kardashian visited the Snapchat headquarters in Venice, California, on Tuesday, May 31, and after getting excited to meet the man who invented Face Swap, she got a Marilyn Monroe filter made just for her.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who joined Snapchat in March, has been using the app’s Face Swap feature with her family, often posting short videos featuring her daughter with Kanye West, North, 2.
But when she actually met the man who invented the popular filter, the 35-year-old fangirled all over him, gasping in excitement.
“This guy invented Face Swap, you guys!” she exclaimed in a Snapchat video on Tuesday before using the filter with the laughing programmer.
The mom of two also shared a video with a filter that gave her wavy blonde hair. “I have an official Marilyn filter — only for me,” she said.
It’s not the only filter that the Snapchat programmers have created for Kardashian. Last week, the Selfish author complained in a Snapchat video that she was tired of the dog filter and said she wanted a Dalmatian one.
Fast-forward a few days and guess what popped up on the app? Kardashian shared a video with North on Sunday, May 29, featuring the new filter.
“Why are there two dogs?” the toddler asked. “Because your mama asked for them to make a Dalmatian,” Kardashian replied. Boom.
