Congrats, Mamba! Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, welcomed their third child together recently, adding a baby girl to the brood to join the couple’s two daughters.
TMZ Sports reports that the former Lakers star, 38, and Vanessa, 34, are now parents of a third little girl. They are already parents of daughters Natalia Diamante Bryant, 13, and Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, 10.
It’s been a big year for the pair: The couple announced their happy baby news in July, just months after Kobe officially retired, ending his storied 20-year basketball career.

“Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!!” the athlete captioned a photo of a onesie with the words Baby Mamba emblazoned across the front, using the hashtags “#Blessed #BabyMamba #Thankful.” (The term refers to Kobe’s nickname, the Black Mamba.)
In the photo, a tiny pair of red-and-black sneakers are placed at the ready for a pair of little feet.
The NBA star and the model first met in November 1999 when she was only 17. They tied the knot in 2001 and welcomed their first daughter in 2003 and their second in 2006.
In December 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce from her husband after a decade of marriage amid reports of his infidelity, but they ultimately called off the divorce in January 2013.
Kobe addressed the couple’s turbulent times with a post to Facebook at the time, telling fans, “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family. When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having someone to share it with.”
