Current mood? Not good. The turmoil continues for Kourtney Kardashian, who posted a meme of herself and her #mood on Sunday, January 31.
The image showed the eldest Kardashian daughter, 36, blinking back tears and dabbing her eyes; the meme was captured from an October 2015 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was centered on her split from Scott Disick.
In one specific scene, Kardashian — who was incredibly upset at the time about Disick’s partying and infidelity — said: “I’m just literally on the verge of, like, a mental breakdown.”
That meme was still relevant in 2016. “Mood,” the mom of three captioned the snaps on Twitter.
Though the episode aired in October, Kourtney’s emotional outburst was filmed last July. At the time, photographers captured Disick cozying up to his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli in the South of France.
Meanwhile, the KUWTK cameras were on hand to capture Kourt’s reaction.
“When I wake up, I feel sick,” Kourtney said in the episode, which aired on October 11. “I’m just literally on the verge of, like, a mental breakdown.”
Soon after those photos came to light, the couple split after nine years together, and Disick eventually checked into rehab. While the parents of Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 13 months, remain estranged, Disick speaks affectionately about his ex, referring to her on Kocktails With Khloé last week as “my girl.”
Kardashian also shared some insight into their relationship during her Ellen DeGeneres Show stop last Monday, January 25. “We’re not together,” she confirmed. “I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together … He’s family. He’ll always be.”
