Uh, Kristen, you left your new hubby at the altar! Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard may have waited quite a while to get married, but the House of Lies actress was quick to jump into the arms of another man after saying "I do." The 38-year-old star joked during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she made "pretend love" with her friend Amy Russell's husband shortly after the nuptials.
"The interesting thing about that is [Amy's] husband is an actor, Ryan Hansen, and I was going to work later that day and had a fairly intimate scene with him," said Bell. "So when I left my wedding I said to my best friend, 'Thanks for witnessing my wedding, I'm going to make pretend love to your husband.' And I did." (Amy just so happened to be the one witness to Bell and Dax Shepherd's ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office on Oct. 16.)
Bell and Hansen costar together in the upcoming 2014 film version of Veronica Mars. (He played Dick Casablancas in the series.) He was also featured in one episode of Shepard's NBC series Parenthood in 2013.
Bell may have jumped ship quickly, but she said Shepard, 38, isn't one to get jealous. "He's so open and honest and wants to talk about everything. He's like a girl," Bell said. "No, he's super trusting and trustworthy. He could care less."
As for their daughter Lincoln, who was born in March? "She's amazing and hilarious," the first-time mom gushed.
