There she (kind of) is! Kristen Bell shared a sweet — and jokey — first photo of her and husband Dax Shepard’s daughter via Instagram on Thursday, September 15, but fans might have a little trouble determining who the little girl looks more like.
“First daddy daughter swim in Lake Michigan — a right of passage for any Mitten baby,” the Good Place actress, 36, captioned the image, in which she stands in the foreground with one hand under a tiny speck in the waves, purportedly Shepard, 41, and one of their two daughters.
The couple are parents of 3-year-old old Lincoln and 20-month-old Delta.
Michigan native Bell and Shepard have largely kept their kids out of the spotlight, though the Bad Moms star has been open about sharing her experiences as a busy Hollywood mama.
“One thing I’ve learned as a mom is, it’s really important to monitor when they are able to receive your information,” she told Us Weekly in May. “We wait until they calm down and then we talk to them.”
“It seems like our firstborn is more like me, and our second one is a little more like him,” she continued. “But that’s because the second one is a little slugger. She’s like, When in doubt, knock them out! We’re working on that. That may or may not have been my husband’s motto in his twenties, I don’t know!”
Bell and the Parenthood alum started dating in 2007, got engaged in 2010, and tied the knot in 2013, waiting until California legalized same-sex marriage before they wed.
