Kyle Chrisley has pleaded guilty to one count of resisting arrest after allegedly assaulting an officer, Us can exclusively report.
According to court records viewed by Us, Savannah Chrisley’s older brother entered the plea at a hearing last month. The court dismissed every additional charge against him that same day.
Kyle’s plea comes four months after a grand jury in Rutherford County, Tennessee, indicted the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 35, on three counts of assault on law enforcement, three counts of retaliation for past action, one count of resisting arrest, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of public intoxication.
Kyle was arrested on December 20, 2025, and booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Tennessee after his wife, Ashleigh Nelson, called police.
She claimed Kyle was being “belligerent” and allegedly walking down the middle of the road as she followed him in her vehicle. When officers arrived at the scene, they attempted to talk to Kyle, who allegedly “became immediately aggressive.”

Police later claimed Kyle “charged at deputies and began to throw punches and assault deputies.” The incident resulted in three officers allegedly sustaining injuries.
According to the indictment obtained by Us in June, Kyle was accused of “unlawfully and knowingly” committing an assault on a police officer by “striking said officer with his hand or fist.” He also allegedly threatened “to kill” the officer in retaliation for being arrested and attempted to resist arrest by using “force” against the officer.
The indictment also noted that Kyle appeared “in a public place with intent to cause the public annoyance” and to be “under the influence of a controlled substance, controlled substance analogue or any other intoxicating substance.”
Us has reached out to his attorney for comment.
The news of his guilty plea went under the radar until Savannah, 29, announced her pregnancy on Tuesday, October 27, putting the Chrisley family back in the spotlight.
Savannah is expecting her first child with fiancé Jason Galanis. Us was the first to publicly reveal his identity.
“I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine,” the reality star wrote in her announcement on Instagram. She also included a sweet message about Galanis.
“My protector. My fiercest fighter. My most loyal person. My lover. My safe place. A man with the patience of Job (and Lord knows he needs it 🤣). The one who makes me laugh even on my hardest days. For the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I feel fulfilled. I can finally exhale. I found my forever in you,” she added.
Galanis, 56, is one year younger than her father, Todd Chrisley. He also has a checkered past.
In 2020, Galanis was convicted in connection with multimillion-dollar securities fraud schemes and was sentenced to nearly 16 years in federal prison.
Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025, just months before he pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley following their fraud conviction.
Galanis went through a messy divorce in 2017 while awaiting his sentencing, in which his ex-wife claimed she was a “victim” of his fraud and even received compensation from the Victim’s Defense Fund.
