Lip kits as nail art? Kylie Jenner painted her nails with the signature black-and-white dripping logo from her lip kit packaging on Thursday, June 30, in L.A.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 18, made the choice after going over an array of options with her pal Jordyn Woods on Snapchat. The other polish ideas included designs that reminded her of her “husband,” on-again boyfriend Tyga, and Kimoji designs that featured her older half-sister Kim Kardashian’s “ugly crying face” and butt.
“These are lit,” Jenner declared after taking in the Kimoji-inspired creations.
But ultimately, the reality star went with the lip kit design. It appears to be a smart business move because later that night she revealed big news about the always-sold-out glosses and liquid lipsticks. In a new post on her website, she declared that the 4th of July weekend will be the largest restock ever, and she hopes they’ve created a big enough inventory that she’ll be able to fulfill all orders.
“I know it hasn’t always been the easiest thing to get my lip products, and you have been amazing and patient as I have been working to make more product for all my customers and fans,” she began. “My dream is that you can buy my products when you want and it isn’t so hard. Over the last few months I have been working really hard with my team to expand and make enough … to try and keep my store open with product more often. I’m excited to tell you that I think we are getting much closer to that, and over the 4th of July weekend we are starting by adding more product than ever … so hopefully you can have a relaxed weekend and shop whenever it works for you.”
If the Sugar Factory ambassador has anything to say about it, the larger supply won’t be limited to the holiday weekend. “Hopefully this is how it will be going forward,” she shared. “I can’t promise everything will always be available all the time, but it is our goal to make sure the store is open on a more consistent basis as we are making more product every single day and adding it to the website.”
And that wasn’t the only news. Jenner also hinted that her $29 kits, which previously were sold in liner-and-gloss packages, can now be purchased separately.
“Because you have been asking, we will also be releasing singles of my lip liner and matte liquid lip color for the first time ever!!” she wrote. “I have so many exciting things coming for you guys this summer and having more stock on my website more often is just the first step. Keep your eyes peeled.”
