Kiss and Tell! Nearly a year after tying the knot with William Tell, Hills alum Lauren Conrad opened up this week about the toughest — and sweetest — parts of marriage.
"My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with," Conrad, 28, dished on her blog on Tuesday, Aug. 11. "Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun."
Marriage also takes work, according to Conrad. "The hardest is compromise," she revealed. "You always want to be considerate of each other. It’s not just about you anymore."
Us Weekly exclusively broke news last September that Conrad, 29, and Tell, 35, had wed on the coastline of California. "What a perfect way to start our lives together, surrounded by the people we love most," the couple said at the time. The newlyweds also shared photos from their gorgeous rustic nuptials — complete with Conrad's signature lifestyle touches.
This past May, Conrad dished even more updates on her first year of marriage. "For us it makes you officially family, which is really great," she told Us at the 10th Annual Women's Rights Awards. "But as far as our relationship, we were really committed before so it didn't change a ton."
