Congratulations are in order for Lauren Manzo, the daughter of former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo. The 25-year-old owner of Cafface Beauty Bar, who is currently filming the family spin-off show Manzo’d With Children, got engaged to longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia on Nov. 12.
Scalia excitedly tells Us Weekly, “She said yes!!”
And Lauren reveals to Us, “I’m so incredibly happy!! I’m in shock. I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Well he was my brothers’ best friend first, but I stole him!”
Her brothers Chris and Albie quickly took to Instagram to congratulate their sis with Chris Manzo captioning his photo with the happy couple, “Not a joke this time! Congrats Lauren and Vito, I love you both.”
Manzo pranked her fans in 2012 announcing her first “engagement” to Vito, but then later tweeted that the proposal was a joke to spoof the tabloids who “make up fake stories” about her.
Lauren’s brother Albie wrote, “Any guess on what the big news is??? Congratulations to @laurenmanzo and @vitoscalia3 Absolutely couldn’t be happier, love you both!!!!”
Naturally Mama Manzo was proud of her daughter, and she quickly took to her site to share a photo of the happy couple saying, “My baby is engaged!!!”
Manzo’s sister-in-law and former costar Jacqueline Laurita retweeted the sentiment saying, “Congratulations Lauren&Vito!!!!”
Lauren has appeared frequently on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, often talking about her fluctuating weight. In October she shared before and after photos from her breast reduction.
“So now you know! I had a breast reduction from @dr_zubowski and I couldn’t be happier — he was beyond incredible to me & I LOVE my new boobs!” she tweeted.
As for a televised wedding, no word yet, but Caroline did talk about the subject in a pre-engagement interview with TV Guide back in August saying, “There are a lot of things I keep to myself because it’s important to maintain that sense of family outside of the show. It’s ultimately Lauren and Vito’s decision, but to not show that is kind of not fair. You’d probably see just a little of it to get a flavor of it. I think the fans deserve that.”
