Lindsay Lohan Apologizes for Exposing Egor Tarabasov Drama: ‘I Was Acting Out of Fear’

Lindsay Lohan is seemingly taking a break from her fiancé, Egor Tarabasov. The Parent Trap alumna penned a candid statement on Instagram Tuesday, July 26, following her explosive fight with Tarabasov over the weekend.

“Dear friends. I'm good and well. #ATM I am taking time for myself with good friends. I am sorry that I've exposed certain private matters recently,” Lohan captioned an Instagram photo of herself on a boat. “I was acting out of fear and sadness … We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public. I have done a lot of soul searching in the past years, and I should have been more clear minded rather than distract from the good heart that I have."

She went on to address her previous activity on Instagram, where she accused Tarabasov of cheating and then later requested that people stay out of her personal affairs. "Social media comes with the territory of the business and the world we now live in. My intentions were not meant to send mixed messages," she wrote. "Maybe things can be fixed… Maybe not.. I hope they can. But I am 30 years old and I do deserve a #GENTLEgiant Life is about love and light. Not anger 🙏 Thank you to those who stand by my side.”

Lohan’s post comes after police were called to her London flat Saturday, July 23, and after the actress blasted the Russian business heir, 23, for being out partying versus at home with her on Sunday.

"I guess I was the same at 23… S—ty time-it changes at 26/27 @e2505t thanks for not coming home tonight,” the Mean Girls star wrote alongside a since-deleted Instagram photo of herself and Tarabasov. “Fame changes people.”

“Home?” she added on another since-deleted post of Tarabasov at a club. “First time in my life-bare with he/ he cheated on me with hooker #meangirls #meanboysu b.”

Us Weekly exclusively revealed the pair were engaged after eight months of dating this past April.

Following their feud, Lohan contacted her father, Michael Lohan.

"[She has been] texting me back and forth that she's OK but [Tarabasov is] off the radar, and he has been off the radar since this happened," Michael told Us on Sunday. "She said he cheated. I don't think she would say that if it wasn't true."

He added: "Things happen. I don't know what their relationship is like. Relationships take twists and turns, what are you going to do?"
