Lindsay Lohan posted a damning image to Instagram on Wednesday, January 27, that slammed her mom, Dina Lohan.
The since-deleted post showed a black-and-white version of the actress’ Bitmoji dropping a phone, with the text “We’re Done” scrawled across the image.
“@dinalohan … Sometimes it sucks when your mom isn’t there for you,” she captioned the post.
Lindsay, 29, quickly took down the image, but not before it was screen-grabbed and shared by fans.
The former child star has been largely estranged from her father, Michael Lohan, and has had a tumultuous relationship with Dina as well.
Last spring, Lindsay reportedly threatened to call the cops on her mother after Dina allegedly tried to sell her daughter’s possessions.
Just a few months earlier, in February 2015, the two Lohan women banded together to sue Fox News for defamation after talk show host Sean Hannity and TV personality Michelle Fields suggested in 2014 that they did cocaine together.
“During the show’s broadcast, Ms. Field [sic] inappropriately and shockingly stated, unequivocally and as a matter of fact, that ‘Lindsay Lohan’s mom is doing cocaine with her’ — which statement is false,” Lindsay’s attorney told Us in a statement.
A representative for Fox News told Us that they had already apologized to the two women and were “surprised” that they were asking for money one year after the fact.
“The remark about which Lindsay and Dina Lohan complain was made on live television by a guest nearly a year ago,” a network rep told Us. “We removed the segment from our archives altogether last February and also apologized on-air. At the time, the Lohans did not make any demands for money, and we are surprised they are doing so now.”
