Lo Bosworth Says Lauren Conrad Was a “Calm Bride,” Jokes About Fuzzy Wedding Memories: “I Was a Couple Cocktails Deep”

Bottoms up! Lo Bosworth says Lauren Conrad‘s wedding was an affair to remember — right up until the point when the booze started flowing. During a chat with HuffPost Live on Tuesday, Oct. 7, the former Hills star joked that some of her memories from the big day are a little fuzzy from all the drinking.

“The food was good,” she said in response to a fan question about what Conrad and her groom, William Tell, served at their nuptials. “I was a couple cocktails deep — what did I eat? I don’t remember! I remember it being delicious. I think I had the vegetarian option?”

(As Us Weekly exclusively reported in our Sept. 29 issue, the wedding menu featured black striped bass, Tuscan roasted chicken, beef tenderloin, and snacks including mini grilled cheeses and bite-size chicken and waffles.)

The drinks, at least, were very memorable. Conrad told Us she offered two special cocktails even before the ceremony started — Ketel One-spiked lemonade and a brandy-and-hard cider concoction called Apple of My Eye. “Good cocktails. Good bartenders,” Bosworth recalled to HuffPost Live. “My friends and I, we know how to have a good party.”

Of course, it wouldn’t have been nearly as special without all the personal touches from Conrad. “She did lots of DIY. She was crafting for weeks and weeks and weeks,” Bosworth said of her BFF. “She made a lot of the stuff that you saw, and it was such a beautiful tablescape. Not one piece of china, not one piece of silverware, not one cup was identical to another piece on the table, so there was so much love and effort that went into it. It was really lovely.”

In fact, the whole day was “beautiful,” the MTV alum said. “[Lauren] was one of the most dazzling brides I’ve ever seen. She wore custom Badgley Mischka when she walked down the aisle, and the gown was just spectacular.”

Bosworth added: “She was just so happy, and a very calm bride. Very, very calm. Not a bridezilla at all, but she’s not like that, she’s fantastic, so I wouldn’t expect anything different from her.”
