Is the Queen of Pop downsizing?
Zillow reports that Madonna is looking to unload her massive NYC duplex, located in the city’s Upper West Side neighborhood (right next to Central Park.) The asking price? A cool $23.5 million.

The more than 6,000-square-foot residence takes up two floors and boasts six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, Juliet balconies, five wood-burning fireplaces, eight “sumptuous” baths, a top-of-the-line sound and humidifier system, a Chef’s eat-in kitchen with a separate windowed dining room, plus gorgeous views of the park.

According to the New York Post, Madonna — who purchased the property in the early ’90s — has had her share of controversies as a resident of the 105-year-old building. Most recently, the “Express Yourself” songstress, 54, settled a 2011 lawsuit with a neighbor who claimed Madonna violated building rules by blasting her tunes and dancing loudly.

When she passes through the Big Apple these days, Madonna reportedly spends most of her time at a property she purchased on Manhattan’s East Side for $32 million, rather than at her Central Park duplex. Currently, the divorced mother of four — in the midst of her worldwide MDNA tour — is renting a home in the Hamptons on Long Island.
