From now on, it's all about Mel!
Melanie Griffith is getting creative when it comes to hiding her famous arm tattoo. The Thirst actress stepped out in L.A. on Tuesday, July 29, wearing a "Mel" bandage to cover up her Antonio Banderas heart tattoo.
The 56-year-old Oscar nominee has been slowly removing her ink since announcing her split from husband Banderas after 18 years of marriage last month.
"There was no cheating on either side. They had fallen out of love awhile ago," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "Their daughter Stella is about to be 18 in September and they wanted to wait until [the] kids were grown and out of the house before they split up, but knew they would awhile ago. They stayed together for the sake of the kids."
Griffith first covered the tat with makeup at the 2014 Taormina Film Festival in Italy on June 17. She went a step further three days later, using makeup once again to hide the entire tattoo.
