Looks like absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder. After a rough couple of weeks apart, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reunited in L.A. on Wednesday, March 20, and got their previously rocky romance back on track.
Though a source recently told Us Weekly that the 20-year-old LOL actress and the 23-year-old Hunger Games actor have been having "the worst fights of their relationship" in the past few months — over everything from Cyrus' drastic makeover to Hemsworth's reported make-out session with an A-list actress — they appear to be trying to work it out. "Things are going well," an insider says. "They are happy."
Indeed, Cyrus has been in great spirits ever since her fiance flew back to the States from his native Australia. Speaking with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Friday morning, the Hannah Montana alum seemed almost giddy as she joked with the host about her twerking video and talked about collaborating with Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) for her upcoming album.

Earlier this month, she was less effusive. Though she denied that the couple had called off their wedding, she stepped out twice without her engagement ring while Hemsworth was abroad. "She says she's over it," a pal told Us of the star, who got engaged to her Last Song costar in 2012.
"Miley and Liam are talking," another friend added. "But he needed a beat."
Beat over, apparently. On Wednesday, the day Hemsworth returned to L.A., the actress tweeted: "Such a dope day."
