Miranda Lambert slammed internet trolls who left rude comments on an Instagram photo that she posted of herself and boyfriend Anderson East from the 2016 CMA Awards.
The "Vice" singer, 32, gave her two cents on her personal account on Thursday, November 3. "Every now and then I decide to re-join the world of social media and post something really personal. Not promoting anyone or anything. Not selling a better version of myself to anyone or trying to look cool like we all do all the time. Just a picture that either I or someone I know and care about took the time to take and see the beauty in. This is one of those moments that im proud of," she wrote. "Last night I was all dolled up and 'out on the town' with my sweet man at the CMA awards in Nashville. I was excited about the night and posted a picture. Just now when I looked I realized so many comments were judgmental and negative."
"Cowardly people hiding behind a keyboard or a cell phone writing their useless comments about our eyes and clothes and body language. What a bunch of bull s—t," she added. "Thank y'all for reminding me why I read books, write songs, and spend most of my time with animals and people I trust and love."
Lambert and Americana/R&B musician East, 28, stayed close as they walked the red carpet at the star-studded event on Wednesday. In the pic, they have their arms around each other and are looking straight into the cameras.
Us Weekly broke the news in December 2015 that the pair were dating. The relationship is Lambert's first since she ended her four-year marriage to Blake Shelton in July 2015
The Voice coach, 40, who did not attend the CMAs, has moved on with Gwen Stefani — and it's serious. "[They're] starting to finalize" wedding plans, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "They've met with vendors."
A second insider adds that they want to tie the knot "before the end of the year."
