Jeah! Nina Dobrev and Taylor Lautner both dressed up as Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte for Halloween — and partied together while doing so.
The Vampire Diaries alum, 27, posted a photo of herself and Lautner, 24, via Instagram on Sunday, October 30. “How many Lochte’s is too many Lochte’s? We’re capping it at 3. #GreatMindsThinkAlike #GoUSA @taylorlautner,” she wrote.
In the hilarious pic, Lautner appeared unamused by their twinning moment. He wore fake gold medals, goggles, a patriot-themed jacket and rocked blue hair.
“When you think you have a chance but Phelps wins again,” the Twilight actor teased via Instagram.
Dobrev looked just as ready to hit the pool. She wore a long-sleeve top that featured a man’s chest and abs, tight shorts, goggles and an aqua-colored wig. The two hung out at Matthew Morrison’s 7th Annual Halloween and birthday party in L.A., which was presented by Freixenet Cava and Podwall Entertainment at Hyde Lounge.
Lochte, 32, of course, had a very eventful summer at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In August, he claimed that he and his three teammates — Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and James Feigen — were robbed at gunpoint at a gas station in Rio. It was later revealed that no incident occurred and the team actually vandalized the property. Lochte was suspended for 10 months from all swimming competitions, and he lost several endorsements.
The athlete has been trying to move forward since the incident. He currently is competing on season 23 of Dancing With the Stars and proposed to his girlfriend, model Kayla Rae Reid, earlier this month. Over the weekend, the couple went as Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland at the Casamigos Halloween party in Beverly Hills.
