Three cheers for Buckley! Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, has school spirit to spare — and she's showing it off as a cheerleader for the super-exclusive Buckley School in L.A.
Paris, who previously played flag football for the school, sported a black and red cheerleading outfit as she and the rest of the squad danced, clapped, and pom-pommed the night away at a Buckley basketball game on Tuesday, March 5. She also rocked an edgy new haircut — a choppy, jet-black rocker 'do.
The teen, who has two brothers, Prince, 15, and Blanket, 11, seems to be finding her niche at the prestigious prep school. (Famous alums include Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.) In addition to football and cheerleading, she has also participated in other school sports including soccer and volleyball.
Last year, though, she admitted that fitting in didn't come easily to her. "People try, but it doesn't always work. [Bullying] happens at school, and some people try to cyber bully me," she told Oprah Winfrey. "They try to get to me with words, but that doesn't really work."
That said, she's happy to be among her peers. "It's more normal. It's more fun," she said. "The social life has gotten better. I mean, there's drama, but…"
