Paris Jackson took to Twitter on Monday, June 20, to let her 1.23 million followers know that she won’t be forced into posting a Father’s Day tweet about her late dad, Michael Jackson.

“If you try to harass someone into posting online about a holiday (fathers day), ask yourself if it’s any of your business,” the 18-year-old wrote, addressing those who suggested that she pay tribute to her pop legend father on Sunday.

While she didn’t share any photos or memories of Michael, Paris recently debuted two new tattoos this spring in honor of the “Thriller” singer. Back in April, the teen scion had the words “Queen of My Heart” permanently written across her wrist in her dad’s handwriting.

“To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart,” Paris captioned a black-and-white photo of her fresh ink.

On May 23, Paris showed off her latest piece of MJ-inspired body art: the superstar’s 1991 Dangerous album cover art blanketing her forearm. “Never forget your roots,” she wrote alongside a pic of her intricate tat, an illustration of the King of Pop’s eyes peering through wildlife scenery. “And always be proud of where you came from.”

In addition, Paris shared a quote from Michael’s 1992 tome, Dancing the Dream: “The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation.”

Paris was just 11 when her father died at age 50 in 2009 from acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. The 13-time Grammy winner is also survived by sons Prince, 19, and Blanket, 14.
