Pete Davidson is embracing a life with punchlines and pacifiers as a new girl dad.
“[She] is 5 months old now,” the stand-up comic, 32, fondly shared during a live taping of the “Pete Davidson Show” podcast on Sunday, May 10, revealing his daughter, Scottie Rose, is babbling and constantly reaching new milestones. “She’s doing tummy time. She is really, really communicative.”
He added, “She’s trying to talk now. She’ll talk all day, but it’s just she’s going ‘la.’ So we kind of talk all day, and she’s so young.”

Davidson — who welcomed his baby girl with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt in December 2025 — said that he is “so excited for [his] daughter to get older.” (Scottie was named after the Saturday Night Live alum’s late father, Scott Davidson, a firefighter who died in the line of duty while responding to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City.)
Pete told fellow comedian John Mulaney that it’s been “so much fun” to watch his bundle of joy grow up, adding, “She’s so cute and chunky. It’s been really awesome.”
Mulaney, 43, also couldn’t help but gush about his daughter, Méi, shared with wife Olivia Munn, calling her “very expressive” before adding, “If you turn on music, no matter what’s happening, she could be sobbing and screaming, and then if you turn on any song she’s dancing.”
The duo spoke about parenthood during the taping, which also marked Mother’s Day 2026. Hewitt, 30, celebrated the holiday as a new mom with a heartfelt message about her baby girl.
“We’re all here because of a mother’s sacrifice to make herself your first home,” the actress, 30, wrote in her caption via Instagram alongside throwback photos from her pregnancy. “I got to be Scottie’s❣️. [It is the] greatest honor of my life. Happy Mother’s Day.”
As for where Pete and Hewitt stand currently, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that both are “figuring out what they want” in their relationship.
“They are working things out,” the insider shared earlier this month. “They are on their own timeframe and it’s up to them to make a decision about their future.”
