Hangin’ with Hillary!
Headline-makers and trendsetters from all over the globe mixed and mingled at the Time 100 Gala in NYC Tuesday night.
Among the attendees?
Girl crush objects Hillary Clinton and Amy Poehler, who greeted one another inside the Lincoln Center bash.
The 40-year-old comedian famously played Clinton on Saturday Night Live during the 2008 presidential race, opposite Tina Fey‘s Sarah Palin.
No word yet on whether the two women discussed Poehler’s impression, although the Secretary of State, 64, recently showed off her killer sense of humor when she submitted her own “Text From Hillary” to the hit Tumblr.
Poehler, who left SNL in 2008, is now starring as civil servant Leslie Knope on NBC’s Parks and Recreation–and has said she likes to think the eternally optimistic Knope takes inspiration from the former Senator’s career.
“I think that [Leslie] is well aware of Hillary and the way that she, along with many other female politicians, have paved the way and opened many doors,” Poehler told the New York Daily News in 2009. “She . . . looks at her as a role model.”
