Savannah Chrisley gave a sweet shout-out to her fiancé one day after she announced their pregnancy and engagement news.
“My forever adventure partner,” Chrisley, 29, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, October 27, over a selfie with her future husband as they posed together on a cruise ship.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chrisley announced that she is engaged and expecting her first baby with her man, whom she referred to only as “Jason” or “J.” (Us later exclusively identified him as Jason Galanis, who is 27 years her senior.)
“I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine. 🥹🤍,” Chrisley wrote via Instagram on Tuesday alongside a video montage of her journey to motherhood thus far.
“J, watching the way you already love and protect our baby before he/she has even entered this world has made me fall in love with you in an entirely new way,” the Chrisley Knows Best alum added. “Not a single doctor’s appointment missed. Constantly caring for me, talking about our baby, and reminding me how beautiful my growing bump is. I thank God every day that this baby gets to call you Daddy. 🤍.”
Chrisley shared more about her engagement and pregnancy on her “Unlocked” podcast on Tuesday, revealing that she found out she was expecting while on a cruise “along the coast of Turkey into Greece.”
“I felt horrible,” she recalled, adding that she bought a pregnancy test at a local pharmacy.
“That test came back, within like 10 seconds, two bright pink lines,” Chrisley added. “And I was like, ‘Stop it. No, there was no way.’ And that’s how we found out that we are officially pregnant. So it was a major plot twist. I mean, we both were so shocked, so thrilled.”
The pregnancy news came one month after Chrisley completed an egg retrieval as part of her in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey. (The reality star was told by doctors that she might struggle to conceive due to having both endometriosis and adenomyosis.)
“Little did I know, I had a baby in my stomach at the time,” she recalled.
In another Instagram Story on Tuesday, Chrisley shared footage of her ultrasound and wrote, “My sweet, thumb-sucking baby … you are worth it all!”
Chrisley also shared a message for her unborn child.
“You are not a headline. You are not a controversy. You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone else’s opinions,” she wrote. “You are innocent, deeply loved, and the greatest blessing God could have ever entrusted your daddy and I with. No amount of noise in this world will ever overshadow the joy of being your mama. You are my answered prayer. And I will never apologize for celebrating you.”
