Excuse Us while we totally lose it over how cute this is. President Barack Obama couldn’t help but giggle over a baby boy adorably dressed up as Pope Francis at the White House’s annual Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 30.
As he and first lady Michelle Obama handed out candy to the hundreds of costumed kids on the South Lawn, a little boy dressed up as Pope Francis showed up in a tiny white Popemobile and his own security detail!
In a video shared on Twitter by the White House, the President bends down to check out the little holy one and is clearly amused. “Top prize,” the commander in chief repeatedly says of the adorable costume, with a big smile on his face.

“@POTUS and Lil’ Pop!” the account also tweeted. “Trick-or-treating with @POTUS.”

The circular driveway, where the President and first lady welcomed young trick-or-treaters, was decorated in an “enchanted forest” theme for the event this year. According to USA Today, treats included Halloween cookies, candy, and baseball cards of the Obama family’s dogs, Bo and Sunny — who were also dressed in costumes, greeting the kids!
Tell Us: Did you also lose it over how cute Baby Pope is?!
