Kate Middleton and Prince William’s son threw a tantrum upon arriving at England’s Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire. According to an onlooker, the adorable toddler had to be calmed down by his mom while taking in the world’s largest military show, which last year featured 247 aircraft from 19 countries.

After being swooped up in Duchess Kate’s arms, George started to get excited about getting to tour the Red Arrow Hawk and Royal Air Force Squirrel helicopters, and began pointing and waving at the crowd. Once inside the helicopter, his dad, who served in the RAF as a search-and-rescue pilot, showed him around the cockpit.

Prince George, clad in a white polo and teeny navy shorts, was given a blue “savings pig” by one of the cadets. The toy is a souvenir honoring the organization’s 75th anniversary. The air show, called “The Next Generation: Inspiring Innovation,” helps encourage young people to get involved in the aviation industry.

“The @airtattoo is a fantastic family-orientated event. The Duke and Duchess know that George will enjoy seeing the aircraft up close,” the official Twitter account for Kensington Palace read prior to the event on Friday. “Staged in support of @rafcharitable, the spectacular @airtattoo is this year celebrating 75 years of the @aircadets #RIAT2016.”
