No one was more surprised to learn about Marilyn Manson's "engagement" than the rocker himself.
A rep for Seraphim Ward, an aspiring actress and self-described "independent occult filmmaker," told E! News Monday that the two stars are planning to tie the knot. "Seraphim has recently made a life commitment to her partner and couldn't be happier!"
There's just one problem: "This is untrue," Manson's rep tells Us Weekly exclusively. "He has never met this woman."
Ward, 27 — who will make her feature film debut in Speed Dragon, also starring Bai Ling, 45 — even tweeted a photo of her "engagement ring" Saturday with the caption "OMG!" Her rep told E! News the bauble is a family heirloom that "holds very special meaning to both parties."
On Sunday, an excited Ward tweeted: "I am still speechless and in shock!"
Prior to Monday's relationship rumors, Manson was married to burlesque star Dita Von Teese; they divorced in 2007 after one year of marriage. He was also in an on-and-off relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood from 2007-2010.
