Rob Kardashian’s family is torn over being supportive of their brother’s new relationship with Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga’s ex-fiancée, Blac Chyna. (Yes, it’s that complicated.)
“The family is in a bind trying to be supportive of Rob’s life while being sensitive of Kylie’s relationship with Tyga,” a source explains to Us Weekly.
As fans are well aware, Jenner, 18, started dating Tyga following his August 2014 split from Chyna. The former model and Jenner’s older half sister Kim Kardashian have since ended their friendship. Rob, for his part, has been battling weight gain and depression for years.
The 28-year-old, who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes earlier this month after gaining more than 100 pounds over the course of three years, has been seeing Chyna for a little over a week. The duo went public with their relationship via an Instagram post that shocked the internet on Monday, January 25. In the photo, Rob’s face isn’t shown, but he was identified by his tattooed arm, which is shown embracing the makeup artist.
“There’s a romantic vibe there,” another insider previously confirmed to Us, adding that the two have yet to put a label on anything.
They are, however, clearly enjoying confusing the world.
On Tuesday, Rob posted a meme joking that he’s having a baby with Chyna. “Blac Chyna probably out shopping rite now as she plan to give birth to the only next generation of the Kardashian Name! #BabyKardashian,” the meme read, alongside a photo of Chyna, who shares a son, King, 3, with Tyga, holding a car seat.
