Former Days of Our Lives star Robert Kelker-Kelly quietly tied the knot for the third time prior to his shocking death at age 62.
Court documents obtained by Us from St. Charles County, Missouri, confirmed that Kelker-Kelly wed Allison Kelly on July 15, 2022. (Page Six first reported the news.)
Little else is known about the couple’s private life together before Robert died hours after complaining of pain in his left arm on October 3.
A St. Peter’s Police incident report viewed by Us revealed that Allison desperately called 911 for assistance when she discovered the soap star unconscious in their home.
Allison later told authorities that Robert had first complained of pain when she picked him up at Spirit of St. Louis Airport at around 7:30 p.m. local time and he even asked her to pull over so he could throw up on their way home.
“Allison related she asked Robert if he needed to go to a hospital, however, he declined and asked her to bring him home so he could lay down,” a police report read.
Once the couple got to their residence, Robert briefly changed his clothes and then laid down on his and Allison’s bed, hoping for some relief from the pain.
“Robert stated he was still experiencing pain and asked Allison to get him an aspirin,” the report claimed. “Allison relayed she went to the kitchen to retrieve an aspirin and when she returned to the bedroom, Robert was unresponsive and not breathing. She then called 911.”
EMS workers from the St. Charles County Ambulance District and police arrived on the scene to administer life-saving measures, but Robert was ultimately pronounced dead at 9:09 p.m. that evening.
Robert’s rapid decline in health was particularly vexing since Allison told investigators that he did not have a history of medical conditions, nor was he prescribed any medications.
A cause of death has yet to be determined, though police consider the case to be closed.
Prior to tying the knot with Allison in 2022, Robert was married twice before — first to Linda Rattner from 1988 to 1992 and later to his former Days of Our Lives costar Miriam Parrish from 1997 to 2011. Parrish, 49, and Robert shared daughter Amelia Rose Kelly.
Robert was best known for starring opposite Kristian Alfondo (Hope Brady) and Lisa Rinna (Billie Reed) as Days of Our Lives heartbreaker Bo Brady, a role he inherited from Peter Reckell in 1992. He remained on the NBC soap until 1995. (Reckell took over the Bo role once again after Robert left the show.)
Following his Days exit, he appeared as Dr. Shane Roberts on Another World from 1996 to 1998. He subsequently had two stints as Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital, first from 2001 to 2003 and later from 2013 to 2014.
In his later years, Robert largely left acting behind to forge a new career in aviation.
