In a new picture guaranteed to warm the cockles of even the most jaded Twi-hearts, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart can be seen engaged in an intimate chat outside a Los Angeles bar — photo proof that the pair are back together, as Us Weekly first reported in September.
During their night out with pals in L.A. Monday (the pair hit Hollywood bar Ye Rustic Inn with a group of friends), Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, "cozied up next to each other," an onlooker says. "Rob and Kristen looked totally at ease with each other . . . There was no sign of tension."
Though they initially tried to keep their reunion under wraps, their Monday night out marks the latest in a string of public rendezvous for the couple of three years. (Over the weekend, the Twilight costars were also spotted cuddling at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont.)
The superstars aren't just hanging out — they're "living together and have reconciled," an insider told Us recently. (On Tuesday, Us confirmed reports that Stewart had snapped up a $2.1 million residence located in Pattinson's trendy Los Feliz neighborhood.)
The On the Road star fought hard to win her man back — and sources say it was just a matter of time until a head-over-heels Pattinson agreed to give their romance another go.
After a series of tearful apologies, the British hunk finally started taking his girlfriend's calls.
"He started thinking nobody else would understand his life," explained an insider. "His rational voice told him not to toss a three-year relationship for one infidelity."
"They have a very deep connection," another source revealed. "Plus, they're young. All relationships at that age have drama."
