Robin Wright and Ben Foster can't get enough of each other — or Robin Thicke! Celebrating both their surprise engagement news and her Golden Globe win (for Best Actress in a TV series, Drama), the House of Cards actress, 47, and the Lone Survivor star, 33, tore up the dance floor to Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at the Weinstein Company's after party held at Old Trader Vic's inside the Beverly Hilton.
One witness notes to Us Weekly that the engaged couple's chemistry was "seriously electric" as they boogied in sync — nay, dirty danced! — to Thicke's worldwide smash. Pulling off spins and other moves, the future spouses had their hands all over one another — stealing kisses and smiles in between their dance moves. "It's like they've been dance partners for years!" marvels the witness. Indeed, the pair incited most of their nearby pals at the Weinstein bash (where guests quaffed Moet and Chandon champagne) to join in on the dance party.
Before hitting the bash, Wright seemed positively giddy talking to reporters in the press room after her Globes win. "I think I grew up late," she mused of finding even more success past age 45. "Women always say about men, over 40, maybe they grow up, they do that thing. I was a late bloomer, is what it feels like. Because now I know I'm 48, almost, but I feel like I'm 30. I feel like I digressed and now I am going to live my 30s again."
When another reporter asked if that maturity shows up in her work, the mother of two (with ex-husband Sean Penn) agreed. "I think what it does is, with time, is get rid of the baggage, the fear, the ego and all that, and you just stop being afraid."
