Every moment is special for the Feek family. Country singer Rory Feek has been documenting his time with his terminally ill wife, Joey Feek, and their daughter, Indiana.
On Tuesday, January 5, Rory posted a picture to the couple’s joint Facebook page of his wife reading to their little girl.
“…loving watching them loving each other,” he captioned the sweet shot of Joey, who is in hospice care in their home.
Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer in May 2014 and had surgery to remove a tumor, but she stopped her chemotherapy treatments in October after the cancer spread.
The family was overjoyed to spend the holidays with Joey, because they hadn’t been sure she’d be alive to celebrate with them.
“Christmas had come and Joey was not only here with us, but she was doing well and we all had an amazing day together,” Rory wrote in a blog post.
