From the bedroom to the MTV Movie Awards stage! Ryan Reynolds joked about his sex life with wife Blake Lively while accepting the Best Comedic Performance award for his role in Deadpool at the star-studded ceremony on Saturday, April 9.
“I want to thank my wife, Blake. Everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex!” he quipped.

The actor, 39, also poked fun at fellow nominee Amy Schumer, who was nominated for Trainwreck.
“I’m really glad Amy Schumer didn’t win. That would have been really weird with those dancers,” he said in reference to an earlier moment when presenters Zac Efron and Seth Rogen danced alongside a group of Deadpools to Salt-N-Pepa’s tune “Shoop.”
“We had a blast working on this movie,” Reynolds told the audience. “But it wasn’t all unicorns and cocaine!”
Later in the evening, the Green Lantern star accepted yet another award for Best Fight for his battle against Ajax (Ed Skrein) in Deadpool.
“They had me fighting another man in a burning building nude as though it were ripped from the pages of my childhood,” he cracked.
The 2016 MTV Movie Awards airs on MTV on Sunday, April 10, at 8 p.m. ET.
