Cocktails and shenanigans! Sandra Bullock had a raucous night out near her home in Austin, Tex. on Saturday, Nov. 17. The 49-year-old star hung up her usual red carpet attire for the evening as she headed out to her restaurant Bess Bistro with a close group of friends for a good ole' time.
"She arrived early in the evening and spent some time with her guests sitting at the bar," an insider tells Us Weekly of the Oscar winner's private party. Bullock then entertained her 5-6 guests at a private table in the back of the restaurant later on for dinner and drinks. As the group took pictures of one another, waiters also served complimentary G.H. Mumm champagne.
But the shindig was just getting started! After mingling with her pals, Bullock let her hair loose as she stepped out onto the dance floor with a drink in hand. "She emerged with her guests and they danced on the dance floor with partygoers until late in the night," the eyewitness reveals to Us. The Gravity star looked stunning for the get together, wearing black leggings, a matching black shirt and suede boots.
"At one point, she went and pulled her hair up in a ponytail because it got hot on the dance floor," the source adds. "She was laughing and having fun and seemed very relaxed."
When she's not joking with close friend George Clooney or promoting her work, Bullock often enjoys retreating back to her Texas home with her son Louis, 3. "When she can be in Austin she loves it," a second insider reveals to Us. "She has a few haunts that she goes to but it's nothing posh."
