Sara Foster offered rare insight into her personal life when she revealed she is “not dating at all” two years after her split from Tommy Haas.
In Us‘ exclusive clip from the Tuesday, October 26, episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Sara, 45, confirmed that she isn’t actively making attempts to find someone, adding, “Isn’t that crazy?”
Host Amanda Hirsch surprised Sara and sister Erin Foster when she revealed she “also [has] never been on a date” since she met her husband at age 22. The trio argued about whether women in their early 20s went on formal dinner dates before Sara elaborated on her own experience.
“I think when I say I’ve never been on a date people are like, ‘What are you talking about?'” she shared. “We have 2 children. And yes, I’ve had relationships but they all started out as friendships.”
Erin, 44, who has been married to Simon Tikhman since 2019, clarified that her sister has “never been on a date with someone that she doesn’t know.”
“I’ve never sat across from somebody who I know casually,” Sara explained. “It sounds terrible. The idea of having to go, ‘So, do you have siblings? I have a sibling.'”

News broke in August 2024 that Sara and Haas, 48, called it quits after nearly 20 years together. The pair, who never got married, share daughters Valentina, 15, and Josephine, 10.
Earlier this year, Sara spoke about her decision to still live with Haas post-breakup.
“It’s such an interesting [thing],” she said during a June episode of Kristin Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “I’m not dating. I mean, I’m sure he is.”
Sara noted that Haas is “always on the road” because of his career as a retired tennis player.
“His comfort level is being on the road,” she continued. “We have breakfast when he’s in town. We have breakfast and dinner with our kids every day. … It’s not for everybody.”
At the time, Sara called their split a slow transition for the now-exes.
“Nothing crazy happened. I think you, kind of, grow differently,” she added. “I remember, I feel like he looked at me once, and I was like, ‘Oh, he does not respect me anymore.’ Once you can see someone looking at you with a certain eye, you’re kind of like, ‘Oh, God.’”
She concluded: “This guy has got so much integrity. You will never meet anyone that has a bad thing to say about him. He has real integrity. He’s not a social climber. He’s not a user. He likes who he likes, doesn’t care who you are. He really is a great guy.”
