Surprise, Saved by the Bell fans: Lisa Turtle is a married woman! Lark Voorhies, who played Screech’s love interest on the beloved teen sitcom, married her music engineer boyfriend Jimmy Green in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday, June 12.
TMZ was first to report news of Voorhies‘ nuptials, which took place in April at a Las Vegas wedding chapel. For their Vegas ceremony, the actress, 41, walked down the aisle in a pink floral dress, a matching hat, and sunglasses. Her groom wore a plaid button-down shirt and jeans.
The couple, who met on Facebook about a year ago and do not currently live together, held a commitment ceremony on April 1 (no April Fools’ joke!), and then celebrated their love again on April 30 in Vegas.
Green told TMZ he and his new bride are planning a larger wedding for family and friends next year.
