Family time after breakup. On Sunday, June 21, Sean Penn was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with his daughter, Dylan Penn. It was his first photographed outing since Us Weekly broke the news that Charlize Theron had ended her engagement to the fellow Oscar winner last week.
Penn, 54, was dressed casually in a T-shirt, jeans, and leather jacket as was his model daughter, 24, who wore a sweatshirt and jeans to go on a walk with her dad on Father’s Day. (The celebrity humanitarian shares Dylan and her brother, Hopper, 21, with his second ex-wife Robin Wright.)
As Us previously reported, Theron, 39, abruptly stopped communicating with her former fiancé following the Cannes Film Festival in May.
“Charlize wasn’t responding to his calls and text,” a source told Us. “She just cut him off.”
The couple began dating in December 2013, and in recent months had attended many events together. In April’s Elle UK, Theron called Penn “the love of my life.”
