Red-hot relationship! New couple Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello stepped out in Los Angeles this past weekend, engaging in a little PDA as they walked the sunny streets.
Us Weekly exclusively broke the news earlier this month that the Modern Family star, 42, is dating the hunky True Blood actor, 37. While they were snapped by Instagram-savvy onlookers when spending some quality time on a date in New Orleans, these are the first paparazzi photos of the gorgeous celebs as a couple.
On Friday, July 18, Manganiello and Vergara were seen holding hands in Beverly Hills, looking picture-perfect as a twosome. Vergara wore skinny jeans with a black tank top and a white blazer for their date, while Manganiello went casual in jeans and a dark-colored V-neck T-shirt.
“He always thought she was sexy,” a pal close to the Magic Mike star tells Us. “The more he gets to know her, the more he likes.”
Vergara ended her four-year on-again, off-again relationship with businessman fiance Nick Loeb in May, and a source tells Us Manganiello’s busy career is part of his appeal to the Colombian actress. “She’s happy to be with someone who has his own things going on,” the source says.
The pair continued their romantic weekend together on Saturday, July 19. They were seen sitting down for lunch together at Aroma Cafe in Studio City as Manganiello put his arm around his new love.
The mutual attractiveness of the couple has not been lost on fans or the actors’ pals. Vergara’s Modern Family costar Julie Bowen spoke to Entertainment Tonight Canada about her friend and her new beau, saying, “It almost is like a genetic explosion and there might not be enough diversity in the gene pool because they are just too good looking.”
