All good? Sofia Vergara met up with her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb on the street in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The Modern Family actress and Onion Crunch founder appeared to be all smiles.
Wearing skinny jeans and pumps, Vergara warmly embraced a hug from her ex.
A source close to the actress tells Us Weekly, however, that the encounter was strictly platonic. "Sofia and Nick are still friends," the source tells Us. "There wasn’t anything romantic about their meeting nor was it a secret that they met up."
The amicable exes called off their two year engagement this past May. "We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse. Not fun anymore," the Colombian beauty revealed to followers on Twitter at the time. "We are still very close but we believe it's the best thing for us right now."
Four months after calling it quits with Loeb, Us Weekly exclusively revealed Vergara's budding new romance with True Blood hunk Joe Manganiello. "Sofia is Joe's dream girl!" another source previously told Us. "He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her."
In an interview with Extra last month, Vergara gushed of her beau: "You know, I'm just having a great time. It's a special time in my life, and I'm trying not to think too much about it. It’s something very new, so we will see what happen."
