Take a sip! Starbucks isn’t done giving its customers surprising new drinks for 2017. The coffee chain unveiled its new Black & White Collection on Wednesday, December 27, just in time for the new year.
The Seattle-based coffee company’s Twitter account said that their latest beverages are topped off with whipped cream and a stripe of chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie to make them extra festive to celebrate the end of the year.

The collection includes three different black-and-white themed drinks, including the Black & White Mocha, the Black & White Hot Chocolate and the Black & White Frappuccino® Blended Beverage. According to the website, the Black & White Mocha is an espresso with steamed milk and a swirl of white and dark chocolate. The hot chocolate is made with steamed milk with silky dark and white mocha, while the Frappuccino® Roast coffee is blended with milk and ice, and swirls of dark and white chocolate mocha.
Starbucks debuted the drinks on social media on Wednesday and has been answering fans’ questions about the collection on Twitter. When a Twitter user said she has been having this drink for years, the company said giving it an official name makes it more accessible for other customers.
“We’ve made it easier for everyone to enjoy by giving it an official name and making it available in Mobile Order & Pay,” the company tweeted. “Plus, we’ve added a stripe of delicious chocolate sequins to the beverage!”

The company is known for its festive holiday cups, and in November, revealed a second holiday cup for the season with the “heartwarming” version of its iconic red cup.
The limited-edition cup featured a white heart in the center framed by two hands coming together. Starbucks encouraged customers to write the name of someone special on the cup and then share a photo on social media with the hashtag #GiveGood.
The Black & White Collection is available now through January 8.
