Taylor Swift Buys Porn and Adult URLs in Her Name to Preempt Trolls

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift bought two surprising new websites.

Taylor Swift is singing "You Belong With Me" to two unexpected new purchases. The Grammy-winning singer, 25, recently shelled out cash to become the owner of the domains TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult, CNN reports

The two URLs were included in a group of new generic top-level domains that are slotted to become available for public purchase on June 1st. Brands and celebrities are reportedly given access to those in their name in what is known as a "sunrise period," ahead of the sell date.

While the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers seemingly had good intentions with the expansion of options from .com and .org, the new suffixes are creating a bit of a headache for stars like Swift.

Swift, who has yet to comment on her new web assets, previously faced a hollow nude photo scandal. This past January, a hacker threatened the "Style" singer with the release of personal, inappropriate pictures, but Swift quickly shot the prospect down.

After regaining control of her Twitter account, the chart-topping performer tweeted, "PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING."
