Taylor Swift is no boozehound.
In an interview with Esquire, the 22-year-old singer admits she doesn't "drink much alcohol," saying, "If it doesn't taste like candy or sparkles, I usually don't drink it." Swift does, on occasion, drink wine. "It makes me feel classy," she explains.
Currently dating 18-year-old high school senior Conor Kennedy, Swift promises her new album, Red, is filled with more than just breakup songs. (The album's first single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," was reportedly written about exes Jake Gyllenhaal, 31, and Joe Jonas, 23.)
"This is breaking news, but there are a few happy songs on this album. I do explore the emotion every once in a while," the country music star says. "I'd like to think you don't stop being creative once you get happy. My ultimate goal is to end up being happy. Most of the time."
For now, Kennedy doesn't have to worry about being the subject of one of Swift's infamous revenge ditties. "If [boyfriends] stick around, then great," she tells Esquire. "They're kind of like signing a release form."
