Caffeine, please! Teresa Giudice can’t believe that she’s finally home with her family after serving an 11-month prison sentence. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star said just that to her lawyer, James Leonard Jr., on Wednesday, December 23.

According to Bravo, Leonard Jr. arrived at Connecticut’s Danbury Federal Correctional Institution at 5 a.m. to pick up Giudice. She was joined by two guards at the time. “‘I can’t believe this is happening,'” Leonard Jr. recalled Giudice, 43, saying.

The mom of four — who was put behind bars last January for fraud charges — then joined Leonard Jr. as they made their way to her Franklin Lakes mansion in New Jersey. According to New York Daily News, Giudice listened to holiday music and requested a Starbucks cappuccino, which was waiting for her in the car. Bravo also reports that she took a nap on the drive home.

More than two hours later, around 7:30 a.m., Giudice reunited with her husband, Joe Giudice, 45, and the couple’s daughters — Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 6.

“It was very emotional,” Leonard Jr. told reporters, via E! News. “It was a private moment but it was very emotional, very powerful, and it was something to see.”

As previously reported, Teresa’s eldest daughter was more than excited to see her famous mom: “welcome back,” Gia tweeted on Wednesday, with a smiley face emoji.

Teresa has yet to publicly comment on her release, but she did forward along a message to her lawyer. “‘Merry Christmas. Happy New Year,'” Leonard Jr. quoted her saying to reporters. “All of you should go be with your families and your loved ones.'”
