It turns out that she’s actually the girl of your dreams! Daveigh Chase, the actress who portrayed “The Ring girl” Samara Morgan in the 2002 horror movie The Ring, is all grown up and beautiful as evidenced in recent photos from her Instagram account unearthed by BuzzFeed on Tuesday, Mar. 24.
Chase, now 24, first found the spotlight more than ten years ago when she expertly executed the role of Samara in the U.S. remake of the Japanese flick.
In the movie, she played the sadistic, flat-footed villain (with unforgettable streaky black hair and a bloodied white gown) seeking revenge on investigative reporter Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) after she watches a mysterious VHS tape that is the key to the more-than-coincidental deaths of four teenagers.
Chase’s portrayal of Samara earned her the Best Villain award at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, and while she was cute back then, the actress is gorgeous now.
In her latest Instagram photos, Chase has swapped the drab face-covering black hair for blonde tresses.
She lives in sunny L.A., and has a ridiculous bikini body, too.
Chase has also appeared on several TV shows including a recurring arc on HBO’s Big Love as Rhonda Volmer. She also voiced Lilo in the 2002 Disney animated flick Lilo & Stitch, and from 2003 to 2006, in its eponymous television show.
While Chase has enjoyed a consistent flow of projects, she has several new movies in the works including 2015’s Obsessed on Campus, JacobJosefAimee, and American Romance.
