Timothée Chalamet’s mom is honoring his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s late grandmother on her first heavenly birthday since her death.
On Sunday, July 26, Nicole Flender commented on Kris Jenner’s tribute to Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon via Instagram, writing in the comments section, “So happy I got to know her.”
In the post, Kris, 70, shared a series of photos of Shannon smiling as she posed with her loved ones. “Happy Heavenly Birthday Mommy. I love you. 🤍,” Kris captioned the Sunday upload.
Kris previously shared earlier this month that Shannon had died at age 91.
“Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful Mommy MJ,” Kris wrote via Instagram at the time. “There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye. My mom was the heart of our family.”
Kris continued, “She taught me everything that truly matters… to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted. She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments. She showed me how to face life’s challenges with resilience and faith.”
In her post, Kris thanked her mom for “every sacrifice” and shared that she would miss their “daily talks.” Kylie, for her part, commented on sister Kourtney Kardashian’s Instagram tribute to Shannon on Sunday, writing, “🤍🤍.”
Kylie, 28, and Chalamet, 30, have been dating since April 2023. A source exclusively told Us in April that the couple are “very serious and committed to each other.”
“Their relationship is very strong and they have a good rhythm going,” the insider shared at the time, adding that the pair “definitely had a lot of real conversations about their future and what they both want.”
The source said that Chalamet and Kylie — who is a mom of two — are “not rushing into marriage,” but noted that “they’re totally aligned and have even talked about getting engaged this year.” (The Kardashians star shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with ex Travis Scott.)
“Kylie really wants another baby and has been open about the fact that she doesn’t feel like she needs to be married to do that, and they’re both on the same page about wanting a kid together,” the insider told Us. “Timothée never thought about starting a family until he met Kylie.”
