Todd Chrisley is ready to kiss and tell about his wild past in Southern California.
“I was an escort when I was 18 in Los Angeles,” Chrisley, 57, shared on the Thursday, October 29, episode of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “I left South Carolina when I was 17. It’s in my book that’s coming out.”
While fans may have to wait nearly two years for his tell-all to be released, the former Chrisley Knows Best star said his experience as an escort started out in an unexpected way.
“I met this woman,” he recalled to podcast host Bunnie Xo. “I worked at the original Cheesecake Factory as a waiter in Marina del Ray. I remember waiting the tables this night, and there were, like, six or seven good-looking women.”
At the end of the night in 1986, Chrisley remembers getting an $800 tip. He also won’t forget spotting a limousine driver, who had a unique request for the waiter.
“He said, ‘My lady would like to speak with you. She said you were their server this evening,’” Chrisley recalls. “I go over and she lets the window down, and she says, ‘Great service tonight.’”
The woman offered to take him home and drop Chrisley off at his residence.
“She didn’t drop me,” the “Chrisley Confessions” podcast host continued while sharing the story next to his wife, Julie Chrisley. “Let’s just say it turned into a very quick encounter. I’m thinking as the sunroof is open, I’m banging this woman as we’re driving through L.A. She was 38.”
While Todd started seeing the unidentified woman, he was “devastated” to learn she was actually married.
Things came to an end before he started seeing another woman because “I was a magnet to that.”
Fast-forward to today and both Todd and Julie, 53, can laugh about all the stories as they celebrate more than three decades of marriage. Married since 1996, the pair are parents to Chase, 30, Savannah, 29, and Grayson, 20. (The couple also legally adopted their biological granddaughter, Chloe, 14.)
“33,000 years we have been married folks,” Todd said on a May episode of the “Chrisley Confessions” podcast before calling his wedding day with Julie the “greatest day” of his life. “I am truly blessed to have had you for 30 years. I love you with all of my heart, and I hope that these next 30 that you will realize how lucky you have been.”
Julie replied, “Trust me, I do.”
