Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s son, Connor, made a rare public appearance to enjoy the 2026 World Series.
Connor, 31, uploaded a selfie with friends while watching the Tampa Bay Rays play the Milwaukee Brewers at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Tuesday, October 27, per E! News. Connor shared his excitement for the Rays winning the game 4-3, captioning the photo, “You gotta believe!”
Cruise, 64, and Kidman, 59, became parents when they adopted daughter Bella in 1993. Less than two years later, the pair adopted son Connor into their family. Cruise and Kidman, who wed in 1990, ultimately split in 2001.
Cruise went on to welcome daughter Suri in 2006 with Katie Holmes, to whom he was married from 2006 to 2012, while Kidman tied the knot with Keith Urban in 2006. The pair welcomed daughters Sunday and Faith before splitting in 2025.
“I just always wanted a child,” Kidman told Vogue Australia in 2017. “I think from a very early age, I wanted a child. I knew that I was going to have a child and that it didn’t matter [how], I actually didn’t know if I was ever going to give birth to a child. So that was the least of it for me. And what I did first was adopt.”
Despite his famous family, Connor has kept a low-profile through the years. In 2018, Kidman made a rare comment about her adult children.
“I’m very private about [them],” she told Australia’s Who magazine at the time. “I have to protect those relationships. I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is. They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and, as a mother, it’s my job to love them.” (Cruise has been an outspoken Scientologist for decades.)
She continued, “I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here. I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family — I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love.”
The next year, Kidman shared that Connor resides in Miami and is in music.
“Bella lives just outside London,” Kidman told Vanity Fair at the time. “You know, she really feels more English. We lived there for Eyes Wide Shut, Mission: Impossible and The Portrait of a Lady. They both had English accents when they were little.”
